What Zortix will never do
Zortix records what named finance podcasts say about stocks — attributed, dated, verbatim. Some things would make that record more clickable and less trustworthy. We don’t do them, and each refusal below is enforced by a rule in the product, not by good intentions.
We never score a host
No accuracy rankings, no leaderboards, no track records, no “called it” badges. Zortix shows what was said and when — flattering, unflattering, or dull — and the judgement stays where it belongs: with you. The words that would let us editorialize are on a banned list our build fails on.
We never show a price, an arrow, or a buy/sell word
There are no price targets here, no green-up red-down, no directives. Stance is a plain word — bullish, bearish, neutral — describing how a thesis was argued, never what you should do about it.
We never hand-pick a Callback
The Callback pairs what a show said months ago with what it says now. Publishing only the pairs where someone looks foolish would be editorializing through curation, so the column runs off a deterministic queue — and the queue is public, so you can verify the next edition was never a choice.
We never run streak mechanics
One edition a day, quiet hours respected, and no push that exists to protect a number you’d be sad to lose. Nothing in Zortix counts your consecutive days, because nothing should.
We never paraphrase in our own voice on attributed surfaces
Every statement you read here is the show’s own line, dated, with the show and episode named — and every one reaches its source in one tap. If you cannot verify it, we do not publish it.
Your data stays yours
What we collect and why is in the privacy policy, and deleting your account — everything, not a soft-delete — is self-serve under account & privacy.
These lines are why hosts can be party to Zortix rather than subjects of it, and why you can cite it without wondering what was left out. When a rule and a growth idea conflict, the rule wins.
